Este proyecto busca emular la conexión entre dos medios de expresión y representación, la fotografía análoga y el grafiti. Juntos dieron lugar a un esparcimiento comunicativo. La sociedad reconoció el grafiti por medio de la fotografía, pero el grafiti también se conoció a sí mismo por medio de la fotografía análoga. Al igual que la práctica fotográfica contemporánea, también hay grafitis por doquier y al alcance de todxs. Es por ello que la presente serie busca recuperar la disiente conexión de ambas prácticas con la urbe en la que se llevan a cabo, exponiendo movimiento, tránsito, habitabilidad, materialidad y ruina en Bogotá.

Wanting to correlate analogue photography and graffiti art, I see these two mediums as forms of expression and representation. Together, in dialogue with one another, graffiti and analogue photography have always moved through each other. Today, there are as multiple graffiti as photographs moving around and at everyone’s reach. This series wants to recover the connection these practices have with the city, and in so doing expose the traces of movement, transit, inhabiting, materiality and ruin they leave along the city of Bogotá.
