Este es un producto audiovisual que navega a través de la experiencia migratoria de la banda musical samaria, Verbenation, tras haberse trasladado a Bogotá seis meses atrás. Durante este proceso de transición se hacen evidentes las dificultades que debe afrontar una banda emergente a la hora de buscar el éxito en una industria musical tan compleja y exclusiva como la de la ciudad de Bogotá. En ellas se refleja la desestabilización de la identidad musical y personal de esta banda que se introduce en un mundo lleno de contradicciones: el éxito y la esperanza aparecen a la par con el fracaso y la adversidad. Así, el desgarramiento y la resiliencia se convierten en el hilo conductor de esta historia de música y migración.

This short film navigates the migratory experience of a musical band from the coastal city of Santa Marta. The members of Verbenation moved to the capital city of Bogotá six months ago, and during this time they have struggled through this process of transition and adaptation, particularly in a rough and complex musical industry environment. In this process we see the identity of the band in flux, instability, and destabilization as they immerse themselves in a world of contradictions. Success and hope are merged with failure and adversity. Rupture and resilience become the thread that weaves this story of music and migration.
